'Black-ish' actor, Anthony Anderson, to receive star on Hollywood walk of fame

American movie star, Anthony Anderson, will reportedly be receiving a star on the prestigious Hollywood walk of fame, for his contributions to the movie and entertainment industry.

Confirming the news, the 'Black-ish' actor told Variety he had expected some buzz around the event, but he was happy to be recognised regardless, “I was looking forward to the pomp and circumstance that surrounds anyone getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, because not just anyone can or will get that,” he said, before adding, “that type of event can’t happen because of what’s happening in the world right now.”

Anderson has been in Hollywood for more than a decade, and has appeared in blockbusters like, 'Romeo Must Die' and 'Kangaroo Jack'.
