Willian Completes His Move To Arsenal On A Three Year Deal


Willian has finally completed his move to Arsenal after signing a 3-year-deal with the gunners.

The Brazilian who completed his 7-year contract in Chelsea after their champions league tie with Bayern Munich finished the season in a good form with 47 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season and 4 goals in the premier League after the restart, taking his overall for the season to 9 goals.

Arsenal Fc who was eager to sign the Brazilian after he refused the 2-year-deal offered to him by Chelsea has beaten off the likes of Inter Miami and Barcelona to Sign the 32-year-old football star on a 3-year-deal to be paid £220,000 weekly.


Willian who was excited about his move to the Emrates said;

"I decided [to join] because Arsenal is one of the biggest clubs in the world,"

"I think this club deserves to shine again and I want to be a part of this project - to be a part of the Arsenal family is amazing. I'm very happy to do that".

"I come to try to win trophies, because this club deserves to win again, and I think you have to do the best as possible to win every game. I always train hard and go on the pitch giving 100 per cent to help this team to win games and to win titles as well."


The Brazilian who will be wearing the No.12 at Arsenal, has won two premier League Titles,  One FA Cup and the Europa League during his stay at Stamford Bridge. 


Arsenal Head Coach, Mikel Arteta, who described how the management have been monitoring the football star for months said;

"I believe he's a player that can really make a difference for us".

"We have been monitoring him for the past few months, we had a clear intention to strengthen in the attacking midfielder and the winger positions [and] he is a player that gives us a lot of versatility, he can play in three or four different positions.

"He has the experience of everything in the football world but to still have the ambition to come here and contribute to bring the club where it belongs. I have been really impressed with all the talks I have had with him and how much he wanted to come."


Well, We can't wait to see him play for the gunners next season.
