Ex- Man United player, Rio Ferdinand, reveals he's expecting with his wife

Former England internationa l, Rio Ferdinand, and his wife, Kate, have announced they're expecting their first baby together, and it's a boy!

The couple shared the exciting news on social media, as they shared photos from the baby's gender reveal party, which happened a few days ago.

The gender reveal took place at the couple's home in Bromley, and had family and friends in attendance, including Ferdinand's kids from his marriage to his late wife, Rebecca Ellison.


Ferdinand and Kate got married in 2019, so this is their first baby as man and wife, but Ferdinand has three other kids, two boys and a girl, from his previous marriage, which ended after his wife passed in 2015.
