Don Jazzy, Davido, Falz The Bahdguy, and other Nigerian celebrities join the #EndSARS campaign

Just like Wizkid, other notable Nigerian celebrities, have joined the movement against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), a program in the Nigerian police force, which was set up to tackle special robbery cases.

The program has over the years, become a challenge for the average Nigerian youth, as men of the police under the program, have used it as a means to extort, maim, abuse and sometimes, kill those who refuse to follow their often illegal directives.

The Nigerian government had promised to reform the program over a year ago, after incessant calls for it to be scrapped on social media, but the problems have not been addressed, as multiple and countless more cases of innocent people being brutalized by men operating under it have surfaced.

Many young Nigerians have again taken to social media to call for the program to be scrapped, and celebrities are lending their voices.

The likes of Don Jazzy, Falz The Bahdguy, Zlatan and more have all joined in the protests, which many will hope will yield some positive results in the coming days.
