US president, Donald Trump, and wife, test positive for coronavirus

US president, Donald Trump, has revealed he and his wife, Melania, tested positive to coronavirus.

The POTUS shared the news via his social media around on Friday, October 2, as he also said they would be going into quarantine.

The message which was posted on Twitter, read, "Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” 

The news comes barely a day after Trump had revealed one of his staff, Hope Hicks, tested positive for the disease.

The Covid-19 pandemic has killed more than a million people globally, with 200,000 coming from the US alone.
