#EndSARS protesters resumes demonstration in Lagos as elderly people clamoring for justice over lekki shooting victims (photos)

 After weeks of suspending protests which sought an end to police brutality and extrajudicial killings, dozens of elderly men and women have taken to the streets under the #EndSARS banner and resumed demonstrations in Lagos.

The elderly people carried placards and were demanding for justice for victims of the Lekki toll gate shooting.

Recall that protests were brought to an abrupt end following the shooting incident on October 20, 2020, where soldiers deployed to enforce curfew opened fire on unarmed protesters at the Lekki toll gate are of Lagos state.

However, on Thursday, media reported that the Police filed a lawsuit asking the court to dissolve all state #EndSARS panels.

Later that day, elder Nigerian men and women stormed Tejuosho Market, in the Yaba area of Lagos state. They were demanding justice for victims of Lekki toll gate massacre.

They were heard verbalizing; ”What do we want?.. Justice! When do we want it?.. NOW NOW!”
